  • Submit and process QSO confirmations using publicly available information

  • Participate in the global tradition of amateur radio QSL exchange

3. User Responsibilities

You will use the Website only for purposes that are lawful and in accordance with these Terms, applicable radio communication laws, and amateur radio etiquette.

3.2 Consent & Data Accuracy

  • You are entirely responsible for ensuring that both parties involved in a QSO have consented to the QSL confirmation being sent.

  • You will only submit accurate QSO data and publicly available contact details (such as email addresses listed on QRZ or equivalent).

3.3 Respect of Privacy

  • You will not use the platform for spam, harassment, unsolicited advertising, or non-radio-related communication.

  • You will respect opt-out requests and understand that any user may unsubscribe at qslworld.com/unsubscribe, which prevents future contact via the platform.

4. How Email Communication Works

Emails sent via QSLWorld.com are:

  • Initiated on behalf of the user/operator

  • Sent using QSO data and contact info submitted by the user

  • Intended as non-commercial, QSL card confirmations only

QSLWorld.com does not initiate emails independently and takes no responsibility for their content or compliance — that is the sole responsibility of the initiating operator.

5. No Commercial Use

You agree not to:

  • Use QSLWorld.com for commercial purposes or promotion of products/services

  • Send marketing or advertising emails using the platform

  • Monetize your use of the platform in any way that violates its purpose or amateur radio guidelines

6. No Scraping or Automated Data Collection

QSLWorld.com:

  • Does not scrape or harvest data through bots or automated tools

  • Only uses publicly available, operator-submitted information

  • May consult services like QRZ.com or equivalent for publicly shared callsign data

Users may not attempt to extract, harvest, or mine data from the site or misuse information found on the platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

QSLWorld.com provides this platform “as is” with no warranties, express or implied. By using the platform, you agree that:

  • You use the platform at your own risk

  • QSLWorld.com is not responsible for any misuse, data errors, communication issues, or third-party legal claims

  • You assume full responsibility for any consequences of using the service

8. Termination & Blocking

We reserve the right to:

  • Deny access to any user who violates these Terms

  • Block abusive IPs, callsigns, or emails

  • Remove QSO data that is inappropriate or reported as false

The platform is community-first, and we aim to maintain a respectful, authentic, and helpful experience for all operators.

9. Changes to the Terms

These Terms of Use may be updated periodically. Continued use of the Website after changes are posted means you accept those changes.

10. Donations & Operational Support

QSLWorld.com accepts voluntary donations to cover operating costs. We are:

  • Not a commercial entity

  • Not operated for profit

  • Not selling services or subscriptions

All donations go directly toward server costs, development, and community support.
